Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Transloom is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Information We Collect

  • •Account information: When you sign up via GitHub or Google OAuth, we receive your username, email address, and profile picture from the provider.
  • •Usage data: We collect information about how you use the dashboard — pages visited, features used, and scan counts.
  • •API keys: We store hashed versions of your API keys. The plaintext key is only shown once at creation.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • •Your source code: The Transloom CLI runs entirely on your local machine. Your source code files are never uploaded to our servers.
  • •File structure: We do not have access to your project's file tree, directory structure, or repository contents.
  • •Credentials: We never store your GitHub token, OAuth secrets, or any sensitive credentials beyond what is needed for OAuth authentication.

How We Use Your Information

  • •Service delivery: To operate the Transloom dashboard, process scans, and open GitHub PRs on your behalf.
  • •Communication: To send transactional emails (scan complete, PR opened, billing receipts). We do not send marketing emails without consent.
  • •Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the product. No personal data is sold to third parties.

Data Sharing

  • •We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
  • •We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery).
  • •We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our users and platform.

Data Retention

  • •Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
  • •Scan history is retained based on your plan (90 days for Pro, unlimited for Team).
  • •You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@transloom.tech.

Cookies

  • •We use cookies only for authentication (JWT session tokens stored as HttpOnly cookies).
  • •We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

  • •Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • •Deletion: You can delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone, or by contacting us.
  • •Portability: You can export your scan history and project data at any time.

Contact

  • •For privacy-related questions or requests, email us at hello@transloom.tech.
